Your adventure begins on pickup from the Ocho Rios cruise port or Ocho Rios resort, for a short & informative ride to the Mystic Mountain jamaica rainforest adventures park.

Mystic Sky Explorer
Embark the Sky Explorer chairlift for a picturesque 15-minute ride through Jamaica’s tropical canopy where several electrifying adventures await those hunting for the latest in excitement.

Mystic Bobsled
The most thrilling part of the visit, however, starts at the Railway Station, a picturesque replica of an early 1900s Jamaican railway station. Here, daredevils can climb into a custom designed Jamaican bobsled and try their hands at the tropical version of the Olympic sport of bobsledding. The track features a gravity-driven plunge of 3,280 feet with twists and turns. You control the speed of your descent with an in-sled handbrake, allowing for either a leisurely ride or a pulse quickening dive to the bottom (speeds up to 40 miles per hour).

Mystic Zipline
Other Mystic Mountain escapades include the Rainforest Zip line Canopy Tour, another exploit definitely worth trying. This amazing combination of five zip lines allows ‘zippers’ to glide 170 meters through the jungle at a near vertical descent of 10 meters before landing on a wooden platform which doubles as the mid-station of the Rainforest Sky Explorer.

We did mystic mountain many years ago when we came by cruise and it was crowded however, this time we brought our kids and it was such a big difference. The park was recently opened so everything is nice and lots to do.

Our experience was an excellent experience from the booking to the excursions. Booking the tour was easy and when we had questions, we got quick responses. Glen Roy, our driver, was fantastic. He was professional, well dressed and polite and drove carefully and safely. We had a full day of activities and he guided us to them all. We did the Skyline, Bobsled, Duns River Falls and tubing. We had a charming guide called Silvan pick us up for our tour to do mystic mountain, dunns river falls and tubing. Silvan was an absolute pleasure to get to know. We had the best experience with Jaital. Silvan was our driver the first day and he was outstanding. He answered our questions precisely and gave us his telephone number so that we felt comfortable knowing he would be there when we were ready to leave. I was in desperate need of DR PEPPER and he made a pit stop at the supermarket where we were able to buy American items (Miller Lite, Lays chips, Dr Pepper etc.). He was awesome. Booked both trips with Jaital. Booking was easy and straightforward. Both our drivers Sylvan and Oldfield were superb....brilliant from start to finish. We booked the Tranopy at Mystic Mountain....fabulous with safety being their priority so book without worry. This attraction is going to be Jamaica\'s no.1 attraction without doubt so even if you are elsewhere not the island take the time to,do this trip Horse riding was with Hooves...another great trip. Don\'t panic if you haven\'t ridden before or haven\'t for some time as the horses seem to have an inbuilt autopilot and know exactly what they need to do and when to do it. When you want them to trot if your comfortable they will do,that but only if you instruct them too. The guides are superb and will ensure you are set up correctly and more importantly are safe. One tip would be to take small notes on this trip...there are 2 small stalls on the beach that sell some cracking,cheap souveniours and as we did the early trip changing even a 10USD note was hard...we just bought more stuff. Riding on horseback through the sea was the reason my partner wanted to do this trip...and it didn\'t disappoint. The entire trip was awesome! At Mystic Mountain the chairlift gave us great views of the ocean, bobsled was thrilling and we also dipped in the pool. Great bonus! Then we were off the tubing. Couldn\'t have enjoyed it anymore. Water was cool and crystal clear. Our tour guide Sean was also extremely friendly and helpful. My husband jumped off of the little dock at the rest stop a few times. Good times! Lastly we visited Dunn\'s River Falls. This was our favorite activity of the day. We pretty much had the entire falls to ourselves. This allowed us to take our time climbing, enjoy the views, and take pictures with no interruption. I recommend the trip we chose for any adventure seekers and water enthusiasts. Never did we feel it was too much or not enough to do in one day. It was perfect!!! more...

“Great experience with Jaital in Ocho Rios”

We booked our excursion through Jaital rather than our ship because the same excursions weren\\\'t available through Princess Cruises. We got into port an hour earlier than our excursion time so had plenty of time to walk from the ship port to the pier where we were to meet for the excursion. The pier was empty and we weren\\\'t sure if we were in the right place as there were no signs posted. A security guard named Timothy saw that we looked lost and asked who we were waiting for. He opened the gate to where we were supposed to meet Jaital and then called them to let them know we had arrived. Timothy sat with us the entire time we waited for our host and drive and gave us a history lesson of the island. Our driver Orlando arrived and took us to our excursion. He paid for and provided us with our wrist bands which kept us from having to wait in line. He wrote his number down on my wrist band and said to call him when we were through. We didn\\\'t wait more than 10 minutes for him to pick us up. Instead of taking us back to our meeting place, he asked if we wanted to do some shopping as we had a couple more hours before having to return to the port. He took us to some really nice shops that were out of the way from the main shopping and the prices were amazingly lower. I traveled with a group of 8 (6 teens and 2 adults) to Ocho Rios on a Carnival Cruise. When we got to the meeting point our Jaital guide, Stacy, was waiting on us to arrive. She got our balance of payment and we waited a few minutes for other guests before our driver Ken arrived. Ken took us to Mystic Mountain where our entrance fee was prepaid and we entered to ride the skylift up the mountains and then we rode the bobsled ride. Ken waited for us outside the attraction until we were done. After Mystic Mountain Stacy rejoined us and we went to Dunn\\\'s River Falls. Stacy joined us on this attraction and she got our bands for us and we went right inside. Stacy was wonderful! She took pics for us and walked the entire falls alongside with some members of our group. After the falls, Stacy and Ken dropped us off to do some last minute shopping before we returned to our ship. They showed us a good souvenir shop and ensured that we got all we wanted. Our trip was wonderful-the driver was prompt-even picking us up early when we arrived early. He was courteous and understanding of my hesitation to pay for the entire trip when he let us know that he was leaving us at the 1st stop and would be returning to pick us up. He was not offended and gave me his phone number and his assurance that he would not forget to pick us up. We are happy to share that we had an amazing time in Jamaica. Our only complaint it that we did not have enough time to experience more. The driver was very helpful, friendly, and always on time. Before our trip we were considering doing the white river rafting; however we decided against it due to not having enough time. Once we met our driver he happened to be taking four others to the rafting and recommended that we try it and so we decided to fit it in. It was very fun and we were happy to have been able to experience it. After the river rafting our driver took us to Mystic Mountain where we did the bobsled and zip line. We enjoyed both, however our favorite had to be the zip line. The tour guides were not only friendly but they were also very funny and they added a lot to the experience. I can honestly say we\'ve never experienced anything like it and we will recommend them to our friends and family. Also while we were at Mystic Mountain we realized that all the staff seemed to be friendly, attentive, and helpful as well. As for the web site, it was easy to understand and book. I found the website to be very informative and easy to use, booking was simple and I felt safer knowing I could pay using paypal. Confirmation was sent to me promptly as promised. We were picked up at our hotel as promised on time by driver Sylvan. He presented himself with politeness and very professional. As I was traveling alone with a young child, Sylvan made us feel very comfortable and safe. He discussed the schedule of the days events with us and worked to accommodate our requirements. The excursion was great! We were met at the ship and promptly taken to the Mountain Sky Explorer for our bobsled experience. The Mountain Sky Explorer ride itsellf was a wonderful treat. Gliding over the treetops and seeing the beautiful plants and the beautiful views was worth the trip. But, when we got to the Bobsled, WOW. What a blast that was. We enjoyed the ride so much we purchased tickets for another five rides which we shared. We could not book what we wanted from our rep at our hotel. We had found ochoriostour.com before arriving. So when are agent wanted twice the price and we werent going to get to do everything we decided on ochoriostour.com It was a great day, Alphonso was out driver, he was excellent. We offered to take us other places. We ended up going to Margaritaville and shopping. He did not ask for any extra money, although i did tip his nicely at the end. He is a great driver please dont let any of the negative comments scare you. We just wanted to say that our guide was WONDERFUL. We can not say enough good things about him. He was corteous, fast, told us where we needed to be and when we needed to be there, gave us plenty of time to do everything, made us laugh, took us where we asked him to take us, and was just plain great. Alphonso and his team have crafted a terrific tour company in Ocho Rios! We arrived from our cruise ship and met Alphonso at the very end of the pier ahead of schedule. He handed us over to his driver and our guide Silvan who took excellent care of us, was extmely friendly and did such an awesome job of teaching us a bit about Jamaica and it\\\'s people/history. We had a great time in Jamaica and would like to thank Alphonse. He was at port 1 hour ahead of schedule which helped us get done what we wanted to do. We ziplined, bobsledded and went to Dunn\'s River Falls. He helped guide us through the annoying shop keepers that hound you along the way. Dunn\'s River Falls is very neat but I would rather do it without guides taking movies that I didn\'t want to buy. I booked online and met our driver (Alfonso) at the pier. He was courteous and very well informed. It is true that he was about 15 min late in picking us up (my wife & I) but he more than made up for that throughout the day. He took us to our Skyride tour and it was AMAZING. He told us to make a call and he would be there and within 5 minutes he was there to pick us up, take my wife back to the ship and me to Dunn River Falls because my wife could not do that due to recent surgery. He dropped me off and picked me up when he said he would. We had a great talk about Jamaica and all of the other activites to see and do. “Jamaice Bobsled Ride”

The excursion was great! We were met at the ship and promptly taken to the Mountain Sky Explorer for our bobsled experience. The Mountain Sky Explorer ride itsellf was a wonderful treat. Gliding over the treetops and seeing the beautiful plants and the beautiful views was worth the trip. But, when we got to the Bobsled, WOW. What a blast that was. We enjoyed the ride so much we purchased tickets for another five rides which we shared. The driver arrived promptly to bring is back to Ocho Rios and dropped us off where we asked to be dropped off. “Multi Jamaican adventure, All in one”

Arranged with Jaital for trip to Magic Mountain online prior to our arrival on Royal Caribbean in Ocho Rios. Was met at the terminal and had a short ride to Magic Mountain. They have a chairlift to the top with nice views. The same type used at our ski areas home in Vermont. There were also a bobsled run and Zip line . They have some historical exhibits, a nice gift shop and we had a satisfying and reasonable lunch at the mountain top restaurant. Everyone was courteous and there was no incessant pressure to buy stuff or tip as can be prevalent at times in Jamaica. All in all a great time. Kids would love this.[Tripadvisor re-post] more...

Our experience was unbelievable!!! Of all the ports we visited (Cozumel Mexico and Grand Cayman) Ocho Rios was by far the best. Our driver was fabulous, if it wasn\\\'t for him we would not have done everything we did. Originally we did not plan on doing the tubing with Calyspo tours but he talked us into it, paid for us ( since we did not plan on it, we did not have the money with us, so he paid for us and then we paid him back upon drop off) and it was a very memorable experience. Our time in Ocho Rios could not have been better unless the cruise line had given us more time on the island and we could have stayed longer. When we get the chance to revisit Ocho Rios (maybe 8-10 years when our kids are older) we will definitely get in touch with Jaital Tours. We have just returned home from one of the BEST vacations we have ever experienced. Our time on the Carnival Freedom was outstanding and filled with memories to last a lifetime.
